LEAF Report and Data Entry [LEAF-RADE]

Licenses the operation of solutions developed or configured using LEAF Designer. Users with a license to use the LEAF Report and Data Entry module have access to the functions listed below.

These users should be comfortable using web-based forms and basic web navigation. Guidance, tooltips and help screens can be built into the system to enhance user experience. Generally there is no need for end-user training although that does depend, in part, on the scale and complexity of the enterprise system built by the LEAF Designers.

Functions:

• Enables multiple users to see the models with their associated indicators and links
• View alerts, tables, indicators and charts
• Use performance dashboards, briefing books, and data entry forms

 

LEAF Designer [LEAF-DR]

The Accountability Framework is the foundation of effective planning, evaluation and measurement at a government-wide, departmental, divisional and program level. GX LEAF Designer supports the development and ongoing maintenance of models and frameworks by various authorized stakeholders as processes evolve.

These users should be comfortable working with web-based technology, be knowledgeable of the data that is available to them through the system, be aware of the information that is to be collected from end users, and be willing to participate in a one to two day training course to familiarize them with LEAF Designer. Knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL) is an asset when working with some of the dynamic features of the framework.

Functions:

• Create logic models and easily connect the elements of activities, outputs, and outcomes
• Alter the point of perspective of the model from the ultimate outcome to the core areas activity with a single action
• Link various elements with performance measures and targets that reflect both expected and actual results
• Zoom in on specific elements to see additional detail or data
• Link with other supporting logic models
• Demonstrate all the relationships between specific elements
• Connect to supporting documentation, including strategic or business plans.
• Create web forms for data collection
• Define processes for validation & approval of collected data
• Build-in guidance for data-entry users

 

LEAF Administrator [LEAF-AD]

LEAF Administrators control user access and lead the configuration and maintenance of GX LEAF.

These users should be experienced working with web-based technology and be willing to participate in a few days of GX Administrator training. Knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL) is required when configuring some components of the framework.

Functions:

• Add users and update group security policies
• Define work-flow and document flow process
• Configure the system's variance and tolerance limits Set performance and service standards
• Define correspondence generation templates
• Control security access to the element level
• Ability to add and change page layouts and create user-defined elements and tables

 

LEAF Power Developer [LEAF-PD]

This is an optional module for GX LEAF and not often required. Please contact us for more information... LEAF Power Developer licenses enable expert-level site design. Includes the Web Services Builder that allows users to publish any data element defined to the active dictionary of GX-LEAF. Any database may be defined to the dictionary for the construction of individual field services or for the inquiry and update of more complex documents.

These users must have a high level of experience working with data design and Structured Query Language (SQL). Extensive training (often one-on-one) is offered to ensure the power developers understand the framework's design and comprehend the framework's features that may be required for a particular project.

Functions:

• Page control including cloning, custom select definitions, rules and calculations, documentation generation error message handling, and more
• Enhanced security administration for further definition of user access and restrictions.
• Element Administration for controlling definition of user-defined elements, tables, cross-edits, rules including mandatory and protected settings and condition setting.
